How We Got Here

Jason began his career in landscaping where he learned: irrigation, horticulture, and equipment operation. He then transitioned to a roofing company in 1992 where he expanded his experience by roofing approximately 3,500 homes. He remained in the roofing trade for eight years, learning all phases, and types of roofing procedures. Jason also spent time with a concrete company, becoming familiar with all types of concrete hardware.

In 2003 Jason began working as a foreman for a well established retaining wall company in Bellevue Washington. During his tenure there, he was able to expand his skills with heavy equipment operation and become a proficient on-site crew leader. Additionally, he became familiar with city regulations and officials while obtaining permits, on site inspections, and blueprint readings.

His departure at Retaining Walls N.W. led Jason and a partner to begin Anytype Construction in 2005, where they pooled their construction experience and knowledge together to build a business which could handle all phases of construction excluding plumbing and electrical.

In 2007, Jason launched his own company Earth Tech Construction in Port Angeles, Washington.  With his focus on building community through sustainable business practices and his commitment to “Keeping it Local” Earth Tech Construction hires locally and relies on Angeles Millwork & Lumber Company and Hartnagel Building Supply for project materials.

In 2015, Earth Tech Construction became Earth Tech Construction, LLC.
